So what are the color’s trending this year? A panel of designers was chosen in consulting for Fixr’s 2020 Color Trends Report. They took a look at color trends from several view points to compile color’s for homeowners as we kick off the next decade.

Gray pallets have been a go-to in home design for some years now. It turn’s out a majority of designers still feel gray is a great color, 57% in the panel surveyed. The survey shows gray’s have reached their peak, but will continue as a popular choice.
For interior paint colors cool neutral tones make the top of the list at 57%, while jewel tones and warm neutrals fill in another 34% of popular picks.

So what exterior color sells houses? Gray and white are tops in the survey.
Fixr also asked the experts which is the most important factor in choosing an exterior color before selling. A solid 77% of designers surveyed say a home’s architecture should play a major role.
